VELMA PAULINE BRUNER

Velma Pauline Bruner, age 90, of Troy passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at her residence.  She was born in Milton, WV on February 7, 1925 to the late Milford and Maggie (Davis) Davis.

Pauline is survived by 2 sisters: Helen Carpenter of Huntington, WV and Hazel Foster of Hamptonville, NC; and one brother: Delbert Davis of Troy, OH.  She also is survived by three children: Larry (Patty) Bruner, Joyce (Richard) Smallenbarger and Brenda Waters; three grandchildren; Christopher (Jackie) Smallenbarger, Tina (Jeff) Mitchell and Amanda (Matt) Gross; and eight great grandchildren: Morgan, Taylor and Blayne Mitchell, Kirsten and Jacob Smallenbarger and Whitley, Cadence and Maryn Gross.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son-in-law: Tim Waters; two sisters: Dorothy Washington and Emilee Good; and four brothers: Emzie Davis, Lloyd Davis, Denvil Davis and Richard Davis.

Pauline retired from Dettmer/Upper Valley Medical Center after 55 years of service.

Private services will be held at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, OH.
