Timothy T. Morgan, age 75, of Troy, OH passed away on September 21, 2024 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.  He was born on August 5, 1949 in Troy to the late Benjamin F. Morgan II and Shirley T. (Tresslar) Morgan.

He is survived by his siblings: Mary Beth (Mel) Kemmer of Troy, James "Hank" (Susan) Morgan of Medway and Amy Morgan of Dayton; nieces and nephews: Jon, Jereme, Jason, Andy, Joey, Sarah, Seth, Jack and Alex; great nieces and nephews: Dylan, Ayla, Lucy, Anden, Sofi, Lily, Madi, Mason, Chase and Reagan and numerous cousins.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Oren and Mary Tresslar; his brother Benjamin F. "Biff" Morgan III and his niece Jennifer Morgan.

Tim was a 1967 graduate of Tecumseh High School.  He was always a gentle, non-judgmental soul, known for his laughter and as a friend to all. Tim honorably served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, an experience which followed him his entire life. In the war he was exposed multiple times to Agent Orange which presumptively caused the multiple cancers that ultimately took his life. He recently told members of his family, "It looks like Viet Nam killed me after all."  Tim was a lifetime harness horse trainer known for taking on the most mischievous colts. His favorite place was at the track, rain or shine.  Outside of the horses, he loved reading and history. He was always deep in a historical book and sharing his findings with anyone who would listen. His life was soundtracked by rock music from the 60's, 70's and 80's, of which he was quite an accomplished music and history trivia authority. He could tell you the names of the band members, the instruments they played, and the albums that contained the bands' music. His family will miss his constant laughter, witty comebacks, historical lectures, and his kind and caring nature accentuated by bear hugs.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM on October 6, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM at the funeral home.  Private interment will take place in Medway Cemetery.
