THOMAS GREGORY "GREG" FRISS, age 87, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018.  He was born on July 18, 1931 in Chicago, IL to the late Raymond and Babette (Shneewind) Friss.

Greg is survived by his wife: Carol L. (Smith) Friss of Troy; one son: Brian Friss of Racine, WI; Stepson: Brian (Denise) Bell of Columbus, OH; Stepdaughter: Lauren (Michael) Vore of Tipp City; and five grandchildren: Dylan Friss, Grayson Bell, Ainsley Bell, Jacob Vore and Emily Vore.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son: Jeffrey Friss; and one brother: Raymond Friss, Jr.

Greg was a graduate of Culver Military Academy and Northwestern University.  He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict, receiving two purple hearts.  Greg's long marketing career included national positions with Westinghouse, KitchenAid and Whirlpool Corporation.  After retirement, Greg enjoyed being a Sunday ranger at Homestead Golf Course in Tipp City.

Memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.
