Thomas L. Gearhardt age 60, of Troy, OH died Wednesday August 24, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 27, 1944 in Troy, OH the son of William L. and Dolly F. YantisGearhardt who preceeded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jill Macy Gearhardt, son, Matthew W. Gearhardt of Troy, OH and his fiance' Jessica Bayman and her son, Dylon Bayman of Piqua, OH; daughter, Sarah E. Gearhardt of Troy, OH; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Dave Pinkerton of Troy, OH; brother and sister-in-law, Paul W. and Bobbi Gearhardt of Casstown, OH; mother-in-law and father-in-law, John W. and Evelyn Macy of Troy, OH. Thomas was a 1962 graduate of Troy High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was a member of Cove Spring Church, Troy, OH. He served on Miami County Fair Board for 20 years and Life Time Member of the Miami County Agricultural Society; 2005 Miami County Agricultural Heritage Award Nominee; member of Lena Lodge F. & A.M. Member of Miami County Farm Bureau. Lifelong farmer in Elizabeth Township and partner in Gearhardt Brothers Farms for over 30 years.
