Thomas Lee Coakley, age 91, of Tipp City, OH, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2021.  He was born and raised in Cygnet, OH.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents: DeLoyd and Glada (Loucks) Coakley; brothers: Carl "Duane" and Melvin; and sister: Carolyn.  He is survived by his Jr. High sweetheart and wife of 72 years: Mary (Klingensmith) Coakley; son: Robert (Michelle) Coakley of Evendale, OH; daughters: Jill Coakley Price of Tipp City, OH, and Jackie (Jay) Gearon of Troy, OH; six grandchildren: Erin Coakley of Evendale, OH, Matt (Kristen) Gray of Pleasant Hill, OH, Andrew (Cindy) Gray of Kettering, OH, Kristin (Price) Gilliam of Tipp City, OH, Michael (Sabrina) Coakley of Avon Lake, OH, Tommy (Kayla) Gearon of St. Paris, OH; and eleven great grandchildren: Ridge, Greenlee, Presley, Lakelynne and Tudor Gray, Mason and Layne Gray, Henleigh and Chloe Gilliam, and Madeline and Savannah Coakley; and Numerous nieces and nephews.

Upon Tom's graduation from high school, he worked for Transit and Storage, where he walked the pipeline from Sylvania, OH, to Port Huron, MI.  He later went to work for Standard Oil of Ohio (SOHIO) and retired after 39 years as the manager of all company owned crude oil and products pipelines in the United States (BP).  Tom was a Mason and Shriner.  He enjoyed watching his Cincinnati Reds, fishing for walleye and perch on Lake Erie and spending time at his second home on Marco Island, FL.
