Theodore L. Miller, age 79, of Troy, OH passed away on September 22, 2025. He was born on April 16, 1946 in Troy to the late Willard N. and Betty Louise (Brown) Miller.

He is survived by his wife: Dorothy L. "Dot" (Hawkins) Miller; children: Aaron L. (Nancy) Miller of Sidney, Anthony G. Miller of Ypsilanti, MI, Jennifer L. Monnin of Troy and Jeff A. Haulman of Troy; grandchildren: Jacob Miller, Katelyn (Skyler Westfall) Miller, Chris (Emily Daly) Monnin, Austin Monnin, Brenna Haulman and Savana Haulman; sisters: Kathy (Bill) Folck of Troy and Tinsi Kline of Grand Blanc, MI; nieces and nephews: Michele (Fred) Bundy of Huntsville, AL, Wendy (Lindsay) Folck of Huntsville, AL, and Stephanie (Kyle) McIntosh of Melbourne, FL; great nephew: Freddy Bundy; other great nieces and nephews and mother of his sons Aaron and Anthony "Andy" Miller: Pam Miller.

Ted was a 1965 graduate of Troy High School. He proudly served his country in the US Navy.  He was active duty from 1966-1969 and served as a Machinist Mate on the USS Kitty Hawk. He was former co-operator of Hawkins Machine Shop and served for over 40 years as a Tool and Die maker at various local companies.

He was a member of Elks Lodge #833, Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM, VFW Post #5436, Amvets Post #88 and Troy Fish and Game. He volunteered for ten years with Casstown Fire Department and served on the Miami County Fair Board.  He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Friday.
