Thelma May Favorite Hartstein Thelma May Favorite Hartstein, age 98, of Troy, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at the home of her daughter. Thelma was born on December 5, 1910, in Troy, to the late Bert and Nora Wilhelm Favorite. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Edward John Hartstein, and two brothers, Leonard and Leo Favorite. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Ann Ed Huette and a sister, Jean Redinbo, both of Troy; and a grandson, Scott Edward Huette and two great-grandsons, Soren and Sevrin Huette, all of Eugene, Oregon. Thelma was a 1928 graduate of Troy High School and a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy. She and her husband traveled and she cared for flowers and cooking. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM-2:00PM on Wednesday at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the funeral service at 2:00PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ, Troy, Ohio or Hospice of Miami County.
