Thelma L. Morrison Davis Thelma L. Morrison Davis, age 90, of Troy, Ohio, former resident of Bethel Township for 41 years, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at her residence. She was born on October 25, 1921 at home in McGuffey, Ohio to the late Robert Morrison, Sr. and Euroda Howe Morrison. She was married to the love of her life, Wade E. Davis, on July 11, 1942 and he passed away in 1988. She is survived by her loving daughter and caregiver, Pamela Jo Davis of Troy; one sister, Beverly A. Maurice Heffner of Troy; two brothers, James Morrison of Springfield, Ohio and Richard Morrison of Troy; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Sue Davis of Troy; four grandchildren: Wade Lindsay Davis, Jarrod Davis, Brecken Davis and Logan Davis; one great-granddaughter, Raegan Marie Davis; loving nieces and nephews; and special friends, JoAnn and Betty. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her son, Daniel R. Davis in 2010; brother, Robert Morrison, Jr.; and sister, Dorothy Simpson. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of New Carlisle, Ohio and a 50 year member of the Home City Chapter of Order of Eastern Star. She had a love of gardening and was a collector of angels and enjoyed "bargain" shopping. She retired as a secretary with Milliken-Williams Insurance Agency, New Carlisle. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Friends may call from 12:30-2:00PM at the funeral home with Order of Eastern Star service prior to the service on Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
