Terry L. Wright Terry L. Wright, age 62 of Troy, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born on December 7, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Paul and Mary Ellen Denlinger Wright, formerly of West Milton, Ohio. Terry married his wife and best friend, Cheryl Everett Wright on July 10, 1967 and she survives. Other survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Tom Moore of Tonka Bay, Minnesota, Megan Charles Denyer of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Jake and Emily Moore; brothers, Trent Connie Wright of Elkton, Maryland and David Billie Wright of West Milton, Ohio. Terry was preceded in death by his parents. He was a 1966 graduate of West Milton High School, where he was co-captain of his beloved football team. He was a great athlete and he also excelled at baseball and track. He often spoke of his friends from those days. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bowling Green University and a Masters Degree of Public Health from the University of Michigan. However, he would want to say "Go Bucks!" He was Supervisor, Bureau of General Services, Food Protection Program for Montgomery County. He was also an Associate Professor in the Environmental Health Program, Instructor of Introduction to Environmental Health, and Epidemiology at Wright State University. Terry was President and Owner of Miami Environmental Group, Inc., Troy, Ohio. He was a member of Ohio Environmental Health Association, Arabian Horse Associations, and Alumni Associations. Terry's loves were his family, friends, horses, animals and his devoted companion, his Great Dane, Betty Jane. He also loved sports and politics. Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Friday, August 6, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Ed Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio with Military Honors at the graveside. Friends may call from 5-8:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
