TERESA HAYES-CROSS

TERESA HAYES-CROSS, age 50 of Troy, OH died June 5, 2014.  She was born October 3, 1963 in Hindman, KY to the late Thomas and Lenora Hayes of Greenville, OH.

Teresa is survived by one son: Thomas of Palestine, OH; her husband, friend and love of her life, Dan Cross; son: Shawn of Troy, OH; two brothers: Marcus (Tina) Hayes of Ft. Mills, SC and Jonathon Hayes of Greenville, OH; two granddaughters: Robin and Tessa; and two nieces: Madolyn and Brittany; three nephews: Zachary, Nathaniel and Jarrod Hayes.  She also leaves behind two aunts: Juanita Goskien, of AR and Rose (Bill) Swope of Winchester, KY; two uncles: Willis Smith and Larry Smith, both of Hazard, KY; and the loving extended family of Ruth Cross and several friends.  In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by one brother: Keith Hayes.

Teresa worked for twenty years at Emerson Climate Technologies in Sidney, OH where she was one of the plant supervisors.  She was known as a caring helpful friend who lived by her Christian principles.

Memorial and graveside services will be held at Smith Cemetery in Cordia, KY at a later date.
