Susan Younce, 88, of Troy, passed on to Heaven on February 12, 2024.  Susan was born on May 18, 1935 in Dayton to the late Leonard and Mary Neff, where she shared wonderful years with her brother Jack Neff, and sister Betty Mallett. Susan married her high school sweetheart, Lewis Younce, on April 26, 1952. They were married 54 years and have five children.  Susan is preceded in death by her beloved husband Lewis, their son Timothy, and their daughter Pamela.  Susan will always be loved and cherished, with memories that will be passed on for generations.  She always had fun on the many family fishing vacations to Florida and Canada with her family.  She loved volunteering to help others, and she became quite famous for her peanut butter fudge!  Susan is survived by her three sons, Tony (Marcy) Younce, Tom (Angie) Younce, and Jon (Lori) Younce; nine grandchildren, Mark Younce, Brian Younce, Nicole Younce-Yeomans, Ian Younce, Lauren Younce-Morris, Justin Younce, Jared Younce, Jordan Younce-Goode, and Cameron Burch; seventeen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and many extended family members.  Susan loved and honored God and her country. She was a military wife, mother, and grandmother, as her husband, three sons, and two grandsons are U.S. Veterans.

Susan was a woman of faith, a believer in Jesus Christ. She read her Bible and prayed for others daily.  She was a long-time member of Troy Baptist Church.  She dearly loved her family, and her church family.  Susan attended Tipp City Schools, and she made many wonderful friends throughout her careers at the 'old' Stop-N-Go store in Troy, and Springhill Nursery in Tipp City.

Susan's family will dearly miss her; they will be hugging her in their hearts and looking forward to seeing her again someday to spend everlasting life with her in Heaven.  God has given comfort to her family, in knowing that her body is healed, and joy in knowing that she is happily reunited with her loved ones that are already in Heaven.

Funeral Services to celebrate Susan's life will be held on February 20, 2024 at Troy Baptist Church in Troy, OH with Pastor David Thomasson officiating.  Visitation with family will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m., and a funeral service at the church will begin at 11:30.  Burial will take place in the Willow View Cemetery in Dayton.  Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bairdfuneralhome.com
