Susan Marie Stevens, 77, of Springmeade Nursing Home, passed away late Friday afternoon May 24th, 2002 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was a long time resident of Troy. Sue was born April 19th, 1925 in Morehead Kentucky and is preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, and her first husband Raymond Hanger. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years Donald Stevens of Troy, 2 sisters Francis Moore and Beulah Fultz from Kentucky. Also surviving are her 3 sons and daughter-in-laws Raymond and Glenna Hanger of Tennessee, John and Mary Hanger of Kentucky, Brian and Julie Stevens of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; 1 daughter and son-in-law Judy and Steve Dungan of Tipp City. She had 10 grandchildren Lynn, Jenny, Rachel, and Katie Hanger; Dan, Hannah, and Nathan Stevens; Greg, Paul, and Matt Dungan and 1 great granddaughter Madison Dungan. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy, and a member of the Eastern Star - Troy. Visitation will be Tuesday May 28th from 5:00pm to 8 :00pm at Baird Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 29th at 2:00pm with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Troy with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II and Pastor Greg Dungan of Hamilton Ohio officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ohio Parkinson Foundation.
