Susan R. Rowe Susan R. Rowe, age 79, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 3:37PM on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Dayton Heart Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born on March 17, 1930 in Whiting, Indiana to the late Andrew and Mary Proski Valiska. Her husband, Lloyd W. Rowe, preceded her in death on March 30, 2005. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew and Michael Valiska and one sister, Mary Moreno. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Allen W. and Ginger K. Rowe of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law, Dawn M. and Michael J. Voelkl of Dayton, Ohio; one brother and sister-in-law, George and Joan Valiska of Delaware; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Ann and Matthew Bosiljevac and Helen and John Zajac all of Munster, Indiana; five grandchildren: Christopher Amy Rowe of Miamisburg, Ohio; Nicholas K. Michaelyn Rowe of Troy; Benjamin Andrea Rowe of Troy; Chelsea Voelkl and Madison Voelkl of Dayton, Ohio; and special friends: Lucille Granger, Pat and Lisa Borgerding and daughters, and Howard and Ruth Ann Wolfe. Mrs. Rowe provided child care, was a homemaker, and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Chaplain Hans Kilius officiating. Interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
