Susan Raymond, age 71, of Troy, OH passed away on December 2, 2025 at The James at The Ohio State University. She was born on May 21, 1954 in Piqua, OH to the late Paul Kessler, Sr. and Edith "Jerry" (Weaver) Gillis.

Susan is survived by her daughter: Jessica (Zack) Eversole of Troy; granddaughter: Keyara Rigsbee; great granddaughter: Layanah; siblings: Paul (Lee) Kessler, Jr. of West Milton, Betty Patterson of Troy, Mike Gillis, Sr. of Troy, Harriettea Gillis of Troy, Donniettea (Fred) Lehman of Troy, Evelyn (Alex) Shellhaas of Huber Heights, Mike (Judy) Raymond, Julie Sharits, Loren (Julie) Raymond and Ronnie (Kelly) Raymond; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her former spouse: Keith Raymond; sisters: Charlette Slack and Denise Stuchell; and brother: Mark Raymond.

Susan was a 1973 graduate of Troy High School. She was formerly employed with MAC for many years before retiring from ConAgra. Susan was a member of Troy Redman's and Pocahontas. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and games, watching game shows, and her favorite soap opera: Young and The Restless.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025 at the funeral home. A Pocahontas service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday after the visitation. Please join the family after the cemetery on Tuesday for a luncheon at the Redmans Picnic Grounds.
