Sue C. McDade, age 78, of Troy, OH passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit.  Sue was born on January 29, 1940 in Piqua, OH to the late Lloyd Ellery and Susie P. (Shunk) Weaver.

Sue is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Natalie and Mark Gallagher of Troy, OH; sons and daughters-in-law: Chris and Melanie McDade of Moraine, OH; C. Edward and Julie McDade of Columbia, MO; Charles and Sherry McDade of Troy, OH and Mike and Mary McDade of Troy, OH; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by brother: Lloyd Weaver Jr. and sisters: Betty Bowling; Dodie Ferris and Jerry Gillis.

Sue was a 1957 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 971 and AmVets Post No. 88 in Troy.  She was employed with BF Goodrich for 32 years.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading and vacationing with family.

Services will be held at 7PM on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with the Rev. Norm Kight officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5-7PM on Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, Ohio, 45373 and the American Heart Association,  1313 West Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH 45409.
