Steven Craig Van Horn, 56, of Piqua, Ohio died on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his residence after a long illness. He was born on October 17, 1949 in Sidney, Ohio to Charles E. & Rachel E. Small Van Horn. He married Wanda Carper Van Horn, and she survives his wife of 32 years. Also surviving are two children, April David Blakeley of Pleasant Hill, OH and Matthew Missy Van Horn of Troy, OH; sisters, Alma Jack Freistuhler of Maplewood, OH and Missy Franz Gantener of West Jefferson, OH; brothers, Larry Becky Van Horn and Mike Van Horn, both of Sidney, OH and three grandchildren, Kristopher and Jessica Blakeley and Owen Van Horn. He is preceded in death by his father. He was a member of Mid-County Church of Christ, Troy, OH. He was a 1969 graduated from Sidney High School, Sidney, OH. He retired after 35 years with the Copeland Corporation in Sidney, OH. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2006 at 11:00am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Doug Oakes Sr. & Ken Dietz, ministers co-officiating. Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, OH. Friends may call on the family, Friday, July 21, 2006 from 5-8pm at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
