Steven Leroy Griffieth is survived by his mother, Opal Marie Skinner Griffieth; his wife of 35 years, Catherine Engler Griffieth; daughters and son-in-law, Tammy and Bruce Miller, Tricia Griffieth,and Tanya Griffieth; brothers, James, Roger and Mike Griffieth; and granddaughters, Candise Griffin and Stephanie Yount.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jack E. Griffieth.

Mr. Griffieth was a 1962 graduate of Troy High School; was a retired Petty Officer 1st class with the US Navy; lifetime member of Troy VFW and member of Grace Baptist Church, Troy.

Services will be at Grace Baptist Church, Troy, Ohio at 11:00AM on August 23,2000 with visitation one hour before the service.   Contributions are being requested to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
