Stephen W. Bowen Stephen W. Bowen, age 69, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of Troy, Ohio passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center. Steve was born on December 1, 1942 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to the late Walter and Edna Wynkoop Bowen. He was married to Evangeline Kay Williman Bowen who preceded him in death on December 31, 2009. Steve is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Annette Bowen of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and granddaughter, Makenzie Bowen. Steve was a 1961 graduate of South Side High School in Ft. Wayne. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church in Springfield and a volunteer with Windy Knoll Golf Course, Springfield. Steve retired from Navistar/International Harvester in 2011 after 45 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and golfing with friends and family. Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with the Pastor Jeff Allen officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, Troy. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 29, 2012 from 4:00 – 7:00PM at the funeral home.
