STELLA LOUISE SHOFFNER, age 89, of Englewood, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at her residence.  She was born in Dayton on January 11, 1928 to the late Robert and Estella (Kendel) Beatty.

Stella is survived by her husband of 66 years: Glen E. Shoffner; nieces: Janet Showalter, Kay (Walter) Kaye and Shirley (John) Winger; nephews: Howard (Frances) Schumacher, Robert (Carol) Schumacher, Ralph (Linda) Ransdell and Mike Ransdell.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Jeannette Schumacher, Lela Squires and Sarah Ransdell; and one nephew: Robert Showalter.

Stella was a graduate of Kiser High School in Dayton.  She worked at Metropolitan of Dayton.  Stella's passions were knitting, sewing and square dancing.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.  Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
