On Sunday, September 21, 2008, Shirley "Ann" Randall Propst went home to be with Jesus after a courageous battle with ALS Lou Gehrig's disease. Ann resided in West Milton, Ohio with her husband David Propst, united in marriage for 37 years. She was born on May 30, 1953, in Burlington, Iowa. She was 55 years old. She is the daughter of Page Randall Jr. and Shirley Roberts Randall. Ann is the mother of two daughters Nicole Brandon Douglas of Troy and Tara Mike Fisher of Tipp City, Ohio and Mamaw to her beloved granddaughter Olivia Douglas. She is a sister to the late Debi Randy Kinney of Burlington, Iowa, Rob Jeanette Randall of Biggsville, Illinois, Barb Bob Bailey of Gladstone, Illinois, Karen Tim Bower of Muscatine, Iowa and Judi Randall of Monmouth, Illinois. Ann was preceded in death by her father Page, her sister Debi and her twin sister, Sharon, at birth. She attended Troy Christian Church in Troy, Ohio and was a resident of West Milton since 1986. Annie was a surgical assistant for six years at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 10:00AM Friday, September 26, 2008 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Chris Heiss officiating. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Visitation will be held from 4-8PM Thursday September 25, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to ALS or Hospice of Miami County.
