Shirley Ott, age 80, of Troy, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  She was born on July 25, 1941 in Spirit Lake, IA to the late Aloysious and Clara (Bernholtz) Heinrichs.

Shirley (Gran) is survived by children: Kelly Ott-Statzer of Miamisburg, Jeff (Lisa) Ott of Troy, Donald (Donesia) Ott of Kenosha, WI, Calvin Ott of Chicago, IL and Laurie (Craig) Englund of Shoreview, MN; brother: Verlin Heinrichs of Estherville, IA; eleven grandchildren: Andrei, Daniel, Rachel, Rebekah, Hannah, Nicholas, Katie, Ashley, Zachary, Matthew and Stacia: and seven great grandchildren: Bradleigh, Emery, Cohen, Everett, Emma, Kai and Kameron.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years; Donald Ott on November 27, 2021; two sisters: Cleora Hansen and LuJean Fiedler; two brothers: Ronald Heinrichs and Duane Heinrichs; and one grandson: Joel Englund.

Shirley was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy. She enjoyed listening to Elvis music and even more, she enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with lots of love.

Family will receive friends from 5-7PM on Thursday December 2, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Friday December 3, 2021 in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown.
