Shawn F. Burke, LPN, died unepectedly at his residence in New Carlisle on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Scanlon Burke;father, Martin H. Burke;daughter, Aarin Burke; son, Thomas James Joseph Burke, brothers and sisters-in-law: Mark and JoAnn Burke, James and Debbie Burke; three sisters, Barbara Ann Burke, Karin Collins and Kelly Ann Burke. Mr. Burke was an avid Browns fan. He was a graduate of Ediston State Nursing Program and previously worked at Covington Care Center, Covington, Ohio. Private services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
