Sharon I. Hasting, age 81, of Troy, OH passed away on August 31, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 1, 1944 in Salinas, CA to the late Marion M. and Mary M. (Miller) Snyder.

Sharon is survived by her children: Mark (Sandy) Hasting of Covington and Angie (Ted) Moening of Kettering; grandchildren: Zach (Kaitlyn) Hasting of Bradford, Jenna Moening of Nashville, TN, and Courtney (Bobby) Bauer of Huber Heights; great granddaughters: Peyton and Rylee Bauer; sister-in-law: Gaye Snyder; and brother-in-law: Gary (Katie) Hasting. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband: Larry E. Hasting; daughter: Melisa A. Hasting; brother: Carlon D. Snyder; and daughter-in-law: Holly L. Hasting.

Sharon was a 1962 graduate of Troy High School. She retired as a legal secretary for Miami County after 31 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Troy. She loved reading and scrapbooking.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at the funeral home.
