IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Sharon Ann
Boehringer
July 27, 1964 – June 15, 2024
Sharon Ann Boehringer, 59, of Tipp City, Ohio, died peacefully on June 15, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was a dog lover extraordinaire and member of the All SAR K9 Search and Rescue. She leaves behind her most beloved companions Zoey, Peyton, Cali and Yasha. In a family of dog lovers, the saying goes: "We love our dogs more than most people".
Sharon retired from SEW Eurodrive in 2016 to pursue her dream of owning a doggie daycare and boarding kennel. She successfully operated Run Dogs Run for five years before she lost her leg in the battle with her second form of cancer in 2023. What cancer would never take from this warrior soul was her positive attitude, wicked sense of humor and her insane love for the Dallas Cowboys. She was a competitive bowler, softball player and horseshoe pitcher for many years, which is how she met her best friend and roommate of thirty-five years, Melissa Schindel. They also enjoyed traveling and attending as many performances of Rum River Blend and Berachah Valley as they could, becoming friends with most of the band members and their families.
She is survived by brothers Christopher (Teresa) and Stanley Boehringer. Long-time friend Melissa Schindel. Nephews: Nathan, Seth (Samantha), and Joshua Boehringer. Nieces: Roxane (Isaac) Martinez and Amber Conrad. A multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and especially her great-nephews and great-nieces and numerous close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Theodore V. and Carole R. Plank Boehringer, brother David Boehringer and grandparents John and Ruby Plank and Walter and Nora Boehringer.
A special note of gratitude to her caregivers: Jill Cyphers (cousin) and Peg Snyder (Melissa's cousin). You filled her days with laughter and joy, a debt that can never be repaid. Also many thanks to the staff of Hospice of Miami County for the excellent care and attention to both Sharon and her family.
Sharon will be missed by everyone who knew her and remembered as an unfailing fighter who, in her 30 year battle with cancer, never said "why me?" but was grateful for and sometimes surprised at every day that was blessed to her.
