Scott Travis Hodgson Scott Travis Hodgson was born on May 1, 1937 to Ralph B. and Evelyn J. Murdock Hodgson. He died on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, following an extended period of ill health. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and several uncles and aunts. Family survivors include: Ross A Hodgson of West Carrollton, Ohio; Marley E. Hodgson of Crawford, Colorado; Judy Higgins of Silver Springs, Maryland; Cindy Murdock Burke of Englewood, Ohio; James Murdock of Springboro, Ohio; William Murdock of Cincinnati, Ohio. Scott leaves many dear cousins and friends, although not listed, complimented his lifeline of existence. Scott graduated from Roosevelt High School, Class of 1955 and attended Bowling Green University. His organization memberships have included: Dayton Area Boy Scouts, Dayton Boys Choir, Troy Lions Club, Troy Jaycees, ARC, and Board Member of Edison Community College; and life-long member of Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, 555 N. Market Street, Troy, with Masonic Services prior to the service. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12-1:00PM at the funeral home.
