Scott William Alexander, 54, of Troy made his way home into the loving arms of Our Savior on Nov. 3, 2023.  He was surrounded by the love of his family & friends.  Scott was born in Troy on September 10, 1969 to Melody Miller and Jim Alexander of Covington.  Scott was a 1987 graduate of Covington High School and The Upper Valley JVS.  Scott and his wife Tammy were married on May 20, 1989.

He is survived by his wife: Tammy L. (Shroyer) of 34 years, two sons: Matthew and Christian, sister: Kelly Alexander, brothers: Todd, Mike (Brenda), Tony (Stacey), Kris (Heather) Alexander, sister-in-laws: Pamela Purk, and Misty (Mike) Alcorn, brother-in-law: Rick (Melissa) Shroyer; mother-in-law: Carol (Gaston) Lavayen, cherished aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Scott was an owner in NextStep Consulting and spent many years in a job he loved.  Not only did Scott provide invaluable services to the companies he worked with, but he made many friends along the way who respected him for the kind person that they came to know and love.  Scott was a loving and generous man to all who knew him. His family was his most cherished asset and his number one priority.

Scott loved spending time with family and friends at his cabin in the Mountains, fishing with his son and brothers, and he was also an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan.  His loving nature and great sense of humor will be missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 10, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Harbour officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverside in Troy.  The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM, Thursday, November 9, 2023.
