Sara W. Hansford, age 93, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at the Caldwell House in Troy. She was born on December 10, 1916 in Troy to the late E. H. and Anna Hughes Hansford. She is survived by her special niece, Elizabeth Hansford of Troy and many other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. Hansford was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother. She was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1935 and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Troy. She worked as executive secretary for 45 ½ years at Hobart Corp, retiring in 1981. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy with Rev. Dr. Keith Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
