Sandra L. Drake, age 88, of Troy, OH passed away on January 24, 2026. She was born on May 21, 1937 in Troy to the late Harry L. and Mary (Underwood) Brown.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Pam and Mark Bartel of Troy, Karen and Jeff Potter of South Kingstown, RI; son and daughter-in-law: Jeff and Carole Drake of Grayson, GA; grandchildren: Michael (Anna Durst) Bartel, Megan (Tyler) Schindel, Amanda (Josh) Blackshire, Madison Drake and Bowen Drake; great grandchildren: Madelyn and Haylee Schindel and Benjamin Blackshire; sister: Barbara Small of FL; brother-in-law: Francis (Curly) Langston of Troy and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years: Sherman E. Drake; brothers and sisters-in-law: Lester Brown, Franklin and Caroline Brown, Irvin and Elma Brown; sisters and brothers-in-law: Marguerite (Jim) Boggs, JoAnn Langston and Bill Small and sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Shirley and Jim Palsgrove.

Sandy was a 1955 graduate of Troy High School. She was formerly employed with Hobart Brothers Company and the office manager for her husband's accounting firm, Sherman Drake CPA until their retirement in 1989.

She enjoyed many years with activities of the Miami County Antique Power Association and other antique power associations in Greenville, Portland, In, Xenia and Urbana and the Gold Wing Motorcycle Association. She was a longtime member and former choir member of the First United Methodist Church in Troy.  Sandy was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards.

Service will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM – 2:00PM on Friday. Private interment will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
