SANDRA S. COMER

Sandra S. Comer, age 74, of Troy, OH died on January 14, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, OH.  She was born in Casstown, OH on October 4, 1941 to the late Herman and Mary Elizabeth (McGrew) Baldwin.  Her husband of 53 years, William R. "Dick" Comer survives.

In addition to her husband, Sandra is also survived by four children and their spouses: Jeff S.  (Brenda) Comer, Casstown, OH, Jodi (Anthony) Echeman, Carlinville, IL, Jay (Stephanie Nicole) Comer, Casstown, OH and Janelle Comer, Carlinville, IL; eleven grandchildren: Caleb, Zach, Danielle, Marcus, Jordan, Lindsey, Brad, Makenzie, Michael, Gage and Seth; and eleven great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister: Pricilla Gross.

Sandra was a 1959 graduate of Miami East High School.  She worked for Shady Lane Beauty Shop, Casstown, OH for 40 years.  Sandra was a member of Casstown United Methodist Church, Casstown, OH.  She loved to bowl and traveled throughout the US with her husband attending bowling tournaments.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, OH.  Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Friday night at the funeral home.
