Samual Edgar Harper, age 54, of Bowie, Maryland, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center - Bethesda Naval Hospital.

He was born to Earl Franklin Harper and Linda Sue (Spellman) Harper.

In addition to his mother, Samual is survived by his stepfather: David White of Piqua; Isaac Nathan of Maryland; Maria Gardea of Chicago; daughter: Ariel Gardea-Harper of Chicago; brothers: Randy Harper of Piqua, Chad Harper of Findlay; sister: Thelma (Harper) Wright of Piqua and Lucy, his loving baby girl.

He was preceded in death by his father: Earl Harper; aunt: Connie Kiser; niece: Tiffany Wright and many aunts, uncles and grandparents, also his baby girl: Rani.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy with military honors.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday.
