Beloved mom, granny, great granny, sister, aunt and friend, Sally Doll, age 73 of Troy, sadly left us on December 7, 2023, following a brief illness.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter: Mindy (Dave) Kaiser; grandson: Jordan (Breanna) Kaiser; great grandson: Koen Kaiser; sister: Becky (Michael) Howes; brother: Bill Doll; nieces: Brittney Doll, Sarah Burnside and Katie Doll; nephews: Keane and Kaden Hauck; numerous relatives and friends, including her special caregiver: Joyce.

She was predeceased by her parents: Charles William "Bill" and Lousie Doll; brother: Steve Doll; and nephew: Canaan Hauck.

Sally was a proud lifelong resident of Troy, Ohio.  She enjoyed a successful career of more than 20 years at the Troy Daily News where she worked in classified and sales, ultimately advancing to inside classified advertising supervisor.  She was involved with several organizations including: The Miami County Board of Realtors, Ohio Newspaper Classified Connection, Troy Area Chamber of Commerce, Troy Main Street and many others.  She later enjoyed a semi-retirement job working in the Miami County Prosecutors Office.

Sally was known for her quick wit, generosity and strong will.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She was an avid reader and had a deep love for cats – her own and any that came to her home in need of a meal or shelter.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  Friends may call from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
