Ryan A. DeVilbiss, age 33, of Troy, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 at UVMC ER. Ryan was born December 29, 1984 in Troy, OH, to Robert E. and Karen (Snyder) DeVilbiss.

Besides his parents, Ryan is survived by his brother: Aaron DeVilbiss of Troy; paternal grandfather: Robert K. DeVilbiss of Westerville, OH; maternal grandmother: Sarah Snyder of Conneaut, OH; and aunts and uncles: Doug (Carrie) DeVilbiss, Debbie Flesher, Randy (Kelly) DeVilbiss, Phil (Amy) DeVilbiss, Cathy DeVilbiss, Cindy Ross, Mindy Snyder, Dave (Debbie) Snyder, and Janet Rossman; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother: Helen DeVilbiss; maternal grandfather: George Snyder; and his brother: Kyle R. DeVilbiss.

Ryan was 2004 Troy High School graduate; he received his B.S. from Wright State University majoring in Management Information Systems in 2008. He was an Eagle Scout, former employee of St. Patrick School, and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Ryan loved animals especially his Service dogs Rayni and Wish.  He enjoyed using his computer skills and volunteered his time by maintaining web sites for several organizations.   Ryan was a car and truck enthusiast; he enjoyed car races and car shows of all kinds.   His presence in the life of his family was a treasured gift and he will be dearly missed.  That he is now reunited with his brother, Kyle, gives his family great peace and comfort.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 14 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Fr. Eugene Vonderhaar and Fr. Eric Bowman celebrating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, June 13 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
