Ruth P. Oliver Smith, 85, of Tipp City, Ohio died on Monday, October 17, 2005 at 8:36pm at the Caldwell House, Troy, Ohio. She was born on April 21, 1920 in North Star, Ohio to the late George and Minnie Miller Oliver. She married Frederick Smith, and he precedes her in death in 2000. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; Frederick "Rick" and Patricia Smith of Casstown, Ohio; three grandchildren, Frederick "Eric" Smith; Christina Renee Smith and Nathaniel Patrick Smith. She is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She was a member of the Polk Grove Church, Butler Twp., Ohio. Funeral services will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Richard Culp officiating. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, October 20, 2005 from 12:00-2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio.
