Ruth Anne Harvey-Herron, of Troy, OH passed away on September 23, 2023 at StoryPoint.  She was born on May 18, 1933 in Coldwater, OH to the late Robert and Irene (Rengel) Scott.

She is survived by her children: Katherine Garwood of Piqua; Randy (Kim) Harvey of Troy and Bryan (Amy) Harvey of Troy; her grandchildren: Jason, Kena, Jonathon (Toria), Kylie (Michael) Hartman, and Thomas (Alexis); her great grandchildren: J.D., Mia, Peyton, Hannah, and Grant and brother: Mike (Jean) Scott of Sidney.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband: Kenneth Harvey; second husband: John Herron; son-in-law: Karl Garwood and brother: Tom Scott.

Ruth was a 1951 graduate of Troy High School.  She enjoyed wintering in Clearwater, FL.  Ruth was a proud Grammy.  She was an award winning ballroom and tap dancer.  She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Troy.

Services will take place at 1:00PM on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Frank Rupnik officiating.  Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00-1:00PM on Thursday.
