Ruth J. Small Anderson Ruth J. Small Anderson, age 70, of Troy, Ohio passed away at 10:17AM on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, Ohio. She was born on May 1, 1940 at home in Piqua, Ohio to the late Huber and Ruby Laughman Small. Her husband of 49 years, Albert F. Anderson, survives. Other survivors include her mother-in-law, Marjorie Anderson of Troy; two daughters and a son-in-law: Lisa Anderson of Columbus, Ohio and Patti and Randy Lamme of Troy; two sons and daughters-in-law: Chris and Karen Anderson and Tim and Mona Anderson all of Troy; sister, Esther Marko of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Charlotte Small of Covington, Ohio; and five grandchildren: Ethan Anderson, Madelynn Lamme, Shelby Anderson, Alaina Lamme and Rachel Anderson. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Small. She was a graduate of Troy High School, class of 1958 and a member of the National Honor Society. She worked at David's Shoes and the Western Ohio Bank and retired from Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. Services will be held at 10:30AM on Monday, May 10, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson, II officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
