Russell "Rusty" Newman, age 66, of Casstown, passed away on Sunday January 19, 2025, at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy.  He was born on April 16, 1958, in Troy, to the late Chester "Chet" and Janet (Anderson) Newman.

Rusty is survived by his wife: Linda Kay (Kennedy) Newman; two daughters: Devera Sales and Charity Newman; two sisters: Judy and Cindy; three sisters-in-law: Diana (Wade) Wilhelm, Carol (Tim) Meyer and Brenda Coverstone; nine nieces and nephews; eighteen great nieces and great nephews; and special friend: Robin Hicksenhiser.

Rusty was a graduate of Troy High School.  He was a member of Troy Moose Lodge #2695.  Rusty worked as a laborer.
