Russell Arnold Isner, age 85, of Troy, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his residence.  He was born on April 19, 1938, in Grafton, WV, to the late James Warden and Margurite (Weese) Isner.

Russell is survived by his wife: Judith "Judy" Ann (Hart) Isner; two children Mark Allen (Tracy) Isner of Troy and Penny Isner Hamm of Scottsdale, AZ; one sister: Patricia "Pat" Isner White, of Grafton, WV; and three grandchildren: Brooke (Josh) Wheeler, Allyson Isner and Bryce Hamm.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Harold "Red" Isner, Robert "Bob" Isner and Donald Isner.

Russell was a member of Friendship Grace Brethren Church in Covington.  He was a meatcutter by trade with Pangle's Grocery Store.  He was also owner and operator of Russ' Meat Market in Troy.  Russell coached Moose Little League Baseball for 13 years and was an avid Troy Football fan, where you could hear him throughout the stadium with his cow bell.

Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Roy Glass III officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
