Russel L. Wogoman Jr., age 95, of Troy, OH passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at his daughter's home.  Russ was born on February 17, 1922 in Troy to the late Russell L. Wogoman Sr. and Minnie M. (Richardson) Wogoman.  Russ was married to Lesla for 37 years and she preceded him in death on June 24, 2014.

Russ is survived by his daughter and son-in-law:  Barbara and Ron Wright of Fairborn; sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald and Bev Wogoman of Troy and Donald and Tonia Wogoman of Melbourne, FL; stepson and daughter-in-law: Richard and Jane Cultice of Troy; stepdaughter and son-in-law:  Donna and Steve Koerner of Seymour, IN; grandchildren: Jennifer, Elizabeth, Lora, Matt, Bryan, Chad, Sarah, Monica, Anthony, Steve and Chris; many loving great grandchildren; brothers:  Robert Wogoman and Jerry Wogoman and sister: Joanne Warner, all of Troy; and first wife: Julia Overholser of Fairborn.  In addition to his parents and his wife, Russ was preceded in death by: brothers: Richard and Jack Wogoman.

Russ received his Bachelors Degree from the Dayton Art Institute.  He proudly served his country as a member of US Army during both WW II and Korean War.  Russ was a member of Troy Church  of Nazarene, lifetime member of  Troy VFW, lifetime member of Troy Fish and Game, lifetime member of Elks BPOE Post 833 and Quarter Century Club at Hobart.  He worked for Hobart and subsidiaries.

Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, OH with full military honors presented by the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
