Ruby Phillips, age 91 of Troy, Ohio formerly of Tipp City, Ohio died February 19 at her residence. She was born of the late, Jesse and Maude Maddix Carroll. She was preceded in death her parents, her husband, Clarence E. Phillips and three brothers, Lewis, Arnold and Lowell Carroll. Ruby is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Carl Angle and Marilyn Moran; sisters, Goldie Gearhart; Irene Huyer; sisters-in-law, Margo, Ruth and Margaret Carroll; two granddaughters, Amy and her husband, Don Fields and Mandy and her husband, Jim Humbert; two great-granddaughters, Delaney and Addisyn Fields and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby attended the Troy Church of the Brethren. She was a member of the Troy Senior Citizens and the local ladies friendship club. She retired from the Kruse Hardware in Tipp City and was a homemaker and mother. Contributions may be made to donor's choice of charity in Ruby's memory.
