Ruby D. (Perry) Burton, age 91, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Kettering Hospital in Troy.  She was born on July 13, 1930, in Corbin, KY, to the late Woolsey and Flossie (Goodin) Perry.

Ruby is survived by three daughters: Diane Ullery of Troy, Marcia (Jay) Willis of Troy and Joan Smith of Cardington; four sons: Gerry Burton of Trotwood, Jeffrey Burton of Troy, Douglas (Stacey Shoop) Burton of Troy and Steve Burton of Cardington; one sister: Dora DeHart of West Milton; one brother: Jerry Perry of FL; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great and great great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Surdine "Don" Burton in 2005; daughter: Merry Burton in 2004; son: Timothy L. Burton in 1995; sons-in-law: Jim Smith and Dennis Ullery, Sr.; daughter-in-law: Rita Burton; brother: Willard Perry; and three sisters: Thelma Jacobs, Rosie Randall and Jessie Hattery.

Ruby loved her family, animals, the beach, Texas and reading.  She retired from ITT (formerly North Electric) in Galion, Stage in Troy and was President of Pro Car Care, Inc.

Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Devanice Michelle Ball officiating.  Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
