Ruby K. "Kitty" McDonald Ruby K. "Kitty" McDonald, 82, of Troy, Ohio, died at 10:00AM Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at her residence. She was born November 17, 1924, in Mad River, Champaign County, OH, to the late Harley and Edith Wears Smith. She was married to Paul Richard "Dick" McDonald who passed away in 2002. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas R. and Susan D. McDonald of Troy, OH; daughter, Paula L. Russell of Columbus, OH; brother, Wilber Smith of St. Paris, OH; six grandchildren: Andrew R. Behm, Matthew T. Russell, Susan A. Russell Nagy, Lisa M. Russell, Gregory A. Russell, and Kristin M. McDonald; five great-grandchildren: Brandon and Alex Russell, Stevie and Sydney Nagy, and Carter Behm. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her son, Terry L. McDonald, son-in-law, Daniel G. Russell, two brothers and two sisters. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Troy, OH and of the American Business Women Association. She was formerly employed with M&R Drugstore and Miami Citizens Bank of Troy. Services will be 11:00AM Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH, with Rev. James M. Long of the First Community Church of Columbus, OH, officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH. Friends may call from 6-8PM Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Hospice of Miami County.
