Ruby Johnson Kelsey, 85, of Troy, OH and she spends winters in Tavares, Florida. She died on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 6:52PM at the Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, Florida. She was born on January 23, 1920 in West Mansfield, Ohio to the late David and Marie Walls Johnson. She married Gerald Kelsey, and he survives, her husband of 67 years. Also surviving are their daughter and son-in-law; Karen & Howard Binney of Burlington, Conn; daughter-in-law; Nancy Kelsey of Troy, OH; sister, Marcele Baughman of New Port Richey, FL; brother & sister-in-law; Kenneth & Nancy Johnson of Zanesfield, OH and brother-in-law; Carl McCarty of Plain City, OH. She is preceded in death by one son, Elden; two sisters, Wilma Shirk and Phyllis McCarty. She has six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Troy, OH; 50 plus year member of Order of the Eastern Star; DAR; 50 plus year and charter member of the Afternoon Garden Club. She worker in the Office at Tube Products, Troy, OH and was Archivist for the Troy Histoical Society. Services will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at 11:00AM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Al Bastin officiating. Friends may call on the family on Saturday, March 26th from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
