Roy H. Thuma Jr., age 84, of Troy, OH passed away on July 26, 2025 at Oak Creek Terrace. He was born on August 23, 1940 in Dayton, OH to the late Roy H. Thuma Sr. and Florence (Wallace) Thuma.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years of marriage: Carolyn A. (Thompson) Thuma; sons: Todd Thuma of Troy and Scott (Kelly) Thuma of Springfield; sister: Joy (Phil) Shafer of Troy; four grandchildren: Nathan, Troy, Allison and Trevor and great grandson: Trenton.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson: Ryan Thuma.

Roy graduated from Sinclair Community College with an Associate Degree in Engineering.  He was employed with G&R Sales and Independent Auto Sales for many years. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, music and spending time working in his yard.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.

The family wishes to thank Oak Creek Terrace for their care during Roy's stay.
