Rosa Maria Guzman, age 68, of Troy, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her residence.  She was born on October 26, 1954, in Brownsville, TX, to the late Domingo and Maria Elena (Ruiz) Jimenez.

Rosa is survived by two children: Dania Guzman of Troy, OH, and Azalea Guzman of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren: Xavier Guzman, Darzel Soto, Arizbel Soto, Aldo Soto and Natalia Jacinto, all of Chicago, IL; four siblings: Jose Venegas, Armando Venegas, Ricardo Ruiz and Israel Gil, all of Chicago, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Anastacio Venegas; and one grandson: Elijah Guzman.

Rosa was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Chicago, IL.  She was previously a machine operator with Hellmann's Company in Chicago, IL.  Rosa loved music, karaoke, dancing and cooking.
