Ronnie E. Pickering, of Troy, Ohio died on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at the Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio. He was born November 30, 1936 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Harold Henry and Ruth Neves Pickering. He is survived by his wife, Linda Stevens Pickering and 4 children, Becky Jean Gordon of Eastannalee, GA; Rhonda Lynn Pickering of Greenup, KY; Catherine Marie Kosicki of Fairborn, OH; Ron Pickering of Troy, OH; 2 step-children; Ron Fox serving in Iraq; Betsy Hamman of Troy, OH; 5 grandchildren, Michael Shannon; Kyle Eugene; Dale Lee; Tiffany; and Kristoph Anthony and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters, Christina, Justina and Mary Rose Pickering and 1 bother, Harold Harrison Pickering. He was trained as a non-denominational minister and ministered to the elderly at area nursing homes. He retired from Stevens Aviation; in recent years, he delivered newspapers fro the Troy Daily News and was in sales for the Dayton Daily News. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from 6:00-8:00PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at 2:00PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Johnathan Newman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio.
