Ronald Evan Richmond, age 81, of Troy passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2024, at Troy Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was born on April 1, 1943, in Baltimore, MD to the late Harold and Thelma (Houston) Richmond.

Ron is survived by his children: Charles (Lilly) Richmond and Kimberley (Jason) Morgan both of Troy; grandsons: Alex Heath and Brandon Miller; granddaughter: Bryanna Naples; 10 great grandchildren; sisters: Robin Magoteaux of Greenville and Sharryl Sellman of Centerville; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.

Ron retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and enjoyed Coon hunting, knife collecting, cuckoo clocks and Franklin Mint wild animal figurines.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow at Casstown Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
