Ronald L. Mowery, 68, of Troy, Ohio died at his residence on Sunday, March 12, 2006 after a sudden illness. He was born on February 25, 1938 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Raymond and Ruth Burke Mowery. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lois Mumford Mowery; eight children, Kathy Torella of Florida; Jimmy Mowery of W. Carrolton, OH; Doug, Lyn, Jeff, and Angela Greer all of Troy, OH; Brian Thacker of Troy; Jamie Greer of Lansing, MI; brothers and sister-in-law; David and Jamie Mowery of Xenia; Michael Mowery of Troy, OH; fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Troy Moose Lodge; Eagles Lodge and the Troy Fish and Game. He was machinist with Fries Machine in Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10:30am at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with Pastor Steve Zimbleman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family on Friday, March 17, 2006 from 5-8pm at the Baird Funeral Home.
