Ronald Edwin Hufford, age 82, of Casstown, OH passed away at his residence on November 21, 2018. Ronald was born in Troy, OH on February 23, 1936 to the late Paul and Marybelle (Rogers) Hufford.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma (Collins) Hufford; three children: Diane (Jerry) Walker of Fairfield, CA, Steven (Jennifer Mays) Hufford of Orlando, FL, and Melanie (Ralph) Vasquez of Dania Beach, FL; eight grandchildren: Cory (Andrea) Hart, Garrett Walker, Olivia Hart, Kylie Walker, Seth Hufford, Mariah Hufford, Ethan Hufford, and Joshua Hufford; and siblings: Roxanne (Kenneth) Warling of Baltimore, OH and James (Neva) Hufford of Casstown, OH.

Ronald was a 1954 graduate of Miami Central High School. Ronald proudly served in the US Army as a guard for the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier; his son would later follow in his footsteps. He would later retire from Hobart Brothers Company. Ronald was a member of Casstown United Methodist Church, VFW Post 5436 of Troy, Troy AmVets Post 88, and Troy Fish and Game. Ronald was an avid sports fan, enjoyed golfing and bowling, and collected glass pieces with his wife.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on December 1, at Casstown Cemetery with Rev. Maggie Sykes officiating. The Troy VFW will render military honors.
