Ronald L. Flory Ronald L. Flory, age 73, of Troy, Ohio, passed away on January 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born on March 8, 1937 in Troy to the late Carl E. and V. Marie Beasley Flory. Survivors include his three daughters and sons-in-law: Terrie and Mike Werts of Tipp City, Ohio, Jeannette Flory-Sagan and Bill Sagan of Vienna, Virginia and Rhonda and Rick Sauer of Atlanta, Georgia; three step-sons and daughters-in-law: Scott and Joyce Travis of Dayton, Ohio, Mark and Yonnie Travis of Troy and David and Patty Travis of Sidney, Ohio; one sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Max Littlejohn of Troy; sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his former wife, Merry Johnson Flory on June 9, 2004. He was a 1955 graduate of Troy High School and an avid camper. He was a US Army Veteran. Ron was a member of AmVets Post #88 and attended the Men's Fellowship of the VFW. He was also a member of the Troy Senior Citizens and an avid card player at the center. Mr. Flory retired from Hobart Brothers Company, Troy after 36 years of service as a machinist. Private family services will be held with interment in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
