Ronald Lee Day, age 69, of Troy, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Troy Care and Rehab in Troy.  He was born on April 2, 1955, in Dayton, to the late Oval Lee and Barbara Jean(Burn) Day.

Ronnie is survived by one daughter Leilani (Anthony) Howard; two brothers: David (Pat) Day of Dayton, and Tommy Day of Greenfield, TX; two sisters: Kathie Day of West Milton and Karen (Boyfriend: Bill Westfall) Day of Troy; three grandchildren: Jason, Hannah and Brendan; and numerous nieces and nephews and a very special family friend: Kay Bailey of Dayton.  In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife: Gail Ann (Roe) Day; and special niece: Amy L. Guenin.

Ronnie graduated from Colonel White High School in Dayton.  He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army.  Ronnie was employed by Rumpke Waste Managements.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Reds fan.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Nephew Bryan McLaughlin officiating.  Burial will take place in Dayton National Cemetery with full military honors.  Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
